Soar House at the Haven was born from a simple truth: when people have their basic needs met and access to opportunity, they don’t just survive—they soar. Founded in 2024 by community leaders who saw gaps in traditional social services, we created an integrated model that addresses both immediate crises and long-term empowerment.

We saw families choosing between rent and groceries, students dropping out due to lack of support, and seniors isolated from their community. Traditional approaches were helping, but not enough. We knew there had to be a better way—a more integrated, dignity-preserving approach that addressed both immediate needs and long-term empowerment.
